Buckwalter tech park chosen as host for statewide forum in April

Buckwalter Place will host an Urban Land Institute forum April 29 titled "Planning for the New Economy via Economically Sustainable Urbanism - The Importance of Creating Quality Jobs through Mixed Use Development."

The S.C. District Council of the Urban Land Institute chose Buckwalter Place for the event, which is open to the public.

Participants will tour the 94-acre the technology park and discuss how knowledge-based primary jobs can be attracted to boost an area's economy, according to a news release. To register: Go to www.southcarolina.uli.org.
