Colleton Prep 80, Beaufort Academy 37: Bennett Fultz scored 14 points and Jack Griffith added 13 but it wasn't enough as Colleton Prep rolled the Eagles in their season opener.

Robert Howard did the most damage for Colleton Prep, scoring 23 points in the second half and 32 in the game.

For Beaufort Academy, Nathan Chung had four, Patrick Walker had three and Jordan Littleford had two.

Beaufort Academy (0-1) will travel to Coastal Christian for an 8 p.m. game on Monday in Mount Pleasant.

St. Andrew's 53, Thomas Heyward 44: Bluffton transfer Paul Michael Osborne scored 15 points in his Thomas Heyward debut but the Rebels lost their season opener.

Don Simmons had 12 points, Scott Malphrus had eight, Logan Mock had four, Brandon Nettles had two, Waylan Brown had two and Marshall Mahan had one.

Thomas Heyward (0-1) will host the Coca-Cola Classic on Monday.

Colleton Prep 51, Beaufort Academy 37: Charlotte Delfosse scored 10 points and Alexis Spearman added eight but it wasn't enough as Beaufort Academy lost its first game of the season.

Katherine Neal had seven points in the loss, Caroline Carmody had five, Ashten Byrne had four, Julie Eckstrom had two and Charlotte Westcob had one. Carter led Colleton Prep with 17.

The Eagles (0-1) will travel to Coastal Academy at 6 p.m. on Monday in Mount Pleasant.

Thomas Heyward 53, St. Andrew's 31: Beaufort Academy transfer Caitlyn Cooler scored 16 points, pulled down five rebounds and had three assists as Thomas Heyward won its first game of the season.

Ashlie Layman had 12 points and four rebounds.

Thomas Heyward (1-0) will face Dorchester Academy in the first round of the Coca-Cola Classic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at Thomas Heyward.
