We need to have more Wilsons in Washington

I am proud of Joe Wilson. Finally, we have a man with conviction, backbone and the courage to speak the truth in Washington instead of taking the coward's way of going along to get along.

How refreshing to see a man speak up and say what we know is true. Politicians have become so corrupt and filthy nowadays, that lying to the American people by their elected officials has become commonplace. And to make matters worse, the so-called mainstream media, instead of looking into whether Wilson or President Barack Obama was truthful, started screaming for an apology from the one speaking the truth.

Now the Democrats have targeted Wilson as someone who must be ousted. And maybe with the help from those outstanding people from ACORN, the Service Employees International Union, the mainstream media, a few votes from the dead, and a little bit of thuggery they may do just that.

I thank Wilson for standing on principles. If we had a lot more like him in Washington, maybe that rancid mess could be cleaned up.
