Obama puts troops at risk with delays

More than two months have passed since President Barack Obama's appointed general requested 40,000 additional troops to win the war in Afghanistan. Obama frequently flies out of Washington on our tax-paid airplane, still campaigning instead of staying in the Oval Office to work.

Meanwhile, our troops are being killed unnecessarily due to being understaffed. Recently, an undermanned outpost was overrun and all our troops were slaughtered as a result of Obama's indecisiveness. His ineffectual, vacillating, bumptious stance is a direct cause of the deaths of our military.

We have a grand-nephew serving as a Marine in Afghanistan. Obama's failure to make a decision to send the support troops is putting our grand-nephew's life in excessive danger, which could result in his unnecessary death. Another grand-nephew returned safely last year from Iraq.

Most of the American deaths in these past 60 days can be attributed directly to Obama's weak-kneed shilly-shallying. He will never be a commander in chief.

Obama is in denial due to his lack of experience. Either send support troops now or pull the troops out, quit and run.
