Two men wanted in a Friday morning robbery of a taxi driver at a Hilton Head Island apartment complex remained at-large Friday night, according to a release from the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

The 47-year-old Yellow Cab driver was not harmed in the incident, which occurred on Dillon Road just before 3:45 a.m., according to the release.

The driver told authorities he went to the complex to pick up two fares, the suspects, who got into his cab.

As the driver left the complex, one of the men grabbed him around the neck, while the other took an undisclosed amount of cash from the driver's pockets.

Both suspects then ran towards the back of the complex.

They were described as black men between the ages of 18 and 25, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds.

Anyone with information should contact the Beaufort County Dispatch Center at 842-524-2777.
