Republican Club to host candidate "Meet and Greet"

The Beaufort Area Republican Club will have a "Meet and Greet" event from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Live Oaks Park in Port Royal.

Most of the Republican candidates for governor and lieutenant governor will be there, as well as Republicans running for other offices in 2010.

Frogmore stew, chicken, hush puppies, slaw and soft drinks will be served for $20 per person.
