Two masked men armed with handguns accosted an employee emptying trash and forced him into the back door of the business, the release said.
Once inside, one robber held the store manager at gunpoint and forced him to get money from the restaurant's safe.
The other robber forced the rest of the employees into a meat freezer, where they remained until the robbers left, the release said.
No one was injured during the crime, and the robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robbers are described as two black males dressed in dark clothing and wearing ski masks. One of the men had a darker complexion than the other, according to the release. They drove off in a newer model white or light gray Ford F-150 truck.
