Sen. Graham right on energy legislation

Sen. Lindsey Graham's leadership on climate and energy legislation highlights the growing bipartisan coalition working to reform failed energy policies that have left America wasting billions on foreign oil when we could be investing in clean energy here at home.

Graham's support is a significant step and merits our thanks. The Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act, which is making its way through the Senate right now, has garnered support from a wide spectrum of champions, from business leaders and faith groups to retired generals and veterans. With the respect he has earned from members of both political parties, Graham's support of the bill is a tribute to the great state of South Carolina.

I hope that elected officials from both parties who have been on the fence follow our senator's example and commit to passing climate legislation soon.
