Curry Foundation OK'd as charitable nonprofit

The Curry Foundation recently received notice it has been approved as an official charitable nonprofit organization. The foundation will be hosting a holiday ball fundraising event from 7 p.m. to midnight Dec. 5 at Hampton Hall, Bluffton. The event is open to the public and features a gourmet dinner and dessert, beer and wine, and a performance by the Boogie Freaks. Tickets cost $150.
