Pet Expo to benefit area animal groups

The third annual Pet Expo will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at The Mall at Shelter Cove on Hilton Head Island. Attendees can bring their pets and take part in a pup fashion show, participate in pet adoptions and have free glamour photos taken of their pets. Demonstrations on pet-related topics also will take place, and local businesses will showcase their products.

Proceeds of the fundraiser will be donated to the Hilton Head Humane Association and the Palmetto Animal League. Presenting sponsors of the Pet Expo are PetSmart and Banfield, The Pet Hospital.
