Wooten, Rice engaged

The Rev. Dr. and Mrs. James Grant Wooten, of Beaufort announce the engagement of their daughter, Lee Ann Wooten, of Beaufort, to Hugh Thompson “H.T.” Rice III of Columbia.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Furman University and the University of South Carolina School of Law.

The groom-elect is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Thompson Rice Jr., of Myrtle Beach.

He is a graduate of Emory University and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is currently employed with the S.C. Senate Judiciary Committee in Columbia.
