Crime Reports: Task force arrests 2 Bluffton men on drug charges

Two Bluffton men were arrested Friday for drug charges after a months-long investigation by narcotics officers, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office news release issued Monday.

Travis Graham, 29, and Nasheem Heyward, 30, both were arrested after Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force officers executed a search warrant at the men's Pritchard Street home, the release said.

Officers found 61 grams of crack cocaine, 8.6 grams of marijuana, eight grams of cocaine, more than $3,100 in cash, a handgun, three rifles and a large cache of ammunition, the release said.

Graham, who was at home during the raid, was charged with trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking crack cocaine within a half mile of a school, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine within a half mile of a school, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and possession of marijuana, the release said.

He is being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center, the jail log said. His bond is $105,570.

Heyward was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of marijuana, the release said. He was released from the detention center Saturday after posting a $10,570 bond, the jail log said.

• Pope Avenue: Bike worth $200 stolen.

• Ibis Street: Tent worth $200 stolen.

VANDALISM

• Wild Horse Road: Window broken on Ford truck. Damage: $300.

• North Ridge Cinemas, 435 William Hilton Parkway: Wall spray painted. Damage: $100.

• Cardinal Court: Vending machine pried open. Amount of money stolen unknown. Damage: $1,200.

LADY'S ISLAND

PROPERTY DAMAGE

• Rue du Bois: Sugar poured in gas tank of 2005 Buick Rendezvous. Damage: $500.
