Beaufort Police arrested a 23-year-old Burton man Monday on suspicion of robbing a Beaufort pizza

restaurant at gunpoint earlier this month.

Travis Kyle Walls is charged with armed robbery after investigators say he walked into the Papa John's Pizza on Robert Smalls Parkway on June 5, pointed a pistol at employees and demanded money.

More arrests are possible, as police suspect other people of being involved in the plot to rob the store, according to a news release Monday from the Beaufort Police

Department.

Walls is being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
