Emma Marie Gresham and Christoper Loren Small, both of Raleigh, were married at 4 p.m. May 16, 2009, in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Beaufort. Father Ronald Cellini officiated the ceremony.

The bride is a daughter of Jeff and Janet Gresham of Lady’s Island. The groom is a son of Beck and Nancy Small of St. Helena Island.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Beaufort Academy and a 2007 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Special Education. She teaches at the Children’s Campus in Chapel Hill.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Beaufort Academy and a 2006 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He is a Project Engineer for Bovis Lend Lease in Raleigh.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maids of honor were Hannah and Sarah Gresham of Beaufort, the bride’s sisters. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Carroll of Mount Pleasant, Christin Hirleman of Salem, and Jennifer Thibault of Beaufort.

The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Small of St. Helena Island, brother of the groom, Jeremy Mills of Greenville, N.C., Grady Gordon of Wilmington, N.C., and Bryan Wilson of Richardton, Texas.

Flower girls were May and Ruby Harrelson.

Ring bearer was Zack Harrelson.

The couple honeymooned in Aruba. They will reside in Raleigh.
