Beaufort voted among the best small towns for arts

Beaufort added another feather to its cap when American Style magazine listed the city asthe 12th best art destination among 25 cities with a population of less than 100,000.

Beaufort beat cities such as Aspen, Colo.; Laguna Beach, Calif.; and Naples, Fla. Sante Fe, N.M., took the top spot in the magazine's 12th annual reader's choice poll.

Beaufort clocked in at No. 14 last year.
