The Sand Sharks posted a team score of 307 on Sunday, shaving 21 shots off their first-round score to finish at 635 for the two-day event. Bethune-Cookman won the team title with a score of 605.
Addie Avant was USCB's top finisher, carding a 79 in the final round to go with her first-round 77, good for a tie for 22nd at 14-over-par 156. Adriana Saavedra (85-73—158) tied for 32nd, Sophie Henke (83-77—160) tied for 36th, Sally Woodhead (83-79—162) tied for 39th, and Brittany Cheek (85-78—163) tied for 43rd.
USCB is back in action April 19-20, playing in the Sun Conference Championships at Lake Wales (Fla.) Golf Club.
