'Broadway Goes Hollywood' opens today

The South Carolina Repertory Company continues its 17th season with "Broadway Goes Hollywood," a new show being presented today through Sunday at the theater.

The show, written by Al Balkin, focuses on the Broadway creative giants who went west in the Depression-era 1930s to conquer Hollywood. "Broadway Goes Hollywood" will be presented at 8 p.m. today through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the theater, 136 Beach City Road, Hilton Head Island. Tickets are $24 for seniors and $26 for adults for weeknights and the matinee; and $26 for seniors and $28 for adults Friday and Saturday nights. Student tickets are $15.
