Kevin Glick scored a pair of unusual touchdowns Friday night in Charleston to lead Hilton Head Preparatory School to a 28-14 win over First Baptist -- and into the SCISAA Class 2-A playoffs.

Glick's first touchdown came as First Baptist tried an onside kick, but he fielded the ball and returned it all the way to the end zone, helping Prep take a 13-7 lead into halftime.

His second score came as the Dolphins were trying to run out the clock at the end of the game. He took a handoff and broke through the First Baptist defense on a 75-yard gallop to cap off the victory.

Prep quarterback Matt Layman tossed a pair of touchdowns. DeAnte Scott caught a 22-yard scoring pass from Layman in the first quarter and Kevin Orford caught a 20-yarder from Layman in the second half.

Nick Haidon had a strong defensive effort for the Dolphins, who finish the regular season at 5-5 overall and 3-3 in Region 2-AA. They will travel to Dalzell to face Thomas Sumter Academy on Friday in the first round of the SCISAA playoffs.
