The following reports were released recently at the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office on Hilton Head Island:

GREATER BLUFFTON

Burglaries

• Dersts Road -- Vehicle parts worth $4,500 stolen from home.

• Shady Pine Lane -- Wallet containing $27 in cash stolen from home. Thirty-six-year-old Steven L. Stapleton, of Bluffton, charged with burglary and petit larceny.

• Peninsula Drive -- $350 in cash stolen from vehicle parked in garage.

Car break-ins

• South Point Court -- Laptop computer worth $800 and $20 in cash stolen from two vehicles.

• Evelyns Way -- Briefcase worth $30 stolen from tractor-trailer. Window smashed. Damage: $300.

• Brittle Fern -- Items worth $125 stolen from vehicle.

• Regent Avenue -- Stereo worth $50 stolen from 1993 Honda.

Grand theft auto

• Brittle Fern -- Vehicle worth $20,000 stolen and later recovered on Hilton Head Island.

Theft

• Burnt Church Road -- Two air conditioning units dismantled and copper worth $500 stolen from inside. Damage: $5,500.

Vandalism

• Simmons Cay Apartments, 57 Simmonsville Road -- Two incidents reported. Dashboard and lock of 2001 Honda Civic broken. Damage: $500. Window of 2003 Honda Accord smashed. Damage: $200.

• Westbury Park, 100 Kensington Blvd. -- Two tires on 2007 Dodge Caliber slashed. Damage: $500.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND

Burglaries

• Little Cove Cottages, 53 Marshland Road -- Jewelry worth $600, laptop computer worth $500, $140 in cash, digital camera worth $100 and DVD player worth $30 stolen from home.

• 600 block of William Hilton Parkway -- Two televisions worth $200, lawn mower worth $100 and electric heater worth $50 stolen from home. Window and screen broken. Damage: $65.

• Hilton Head Gardens, 11 Southwood Park Drive -- $300 in cash stolen from home.

Car break-in

• Paul Langan Contracting, 130 Mathews Drive -- Tools worth $2,775 stolen from vehicle.

Grand theft auto

• Monticello Drive -- Vehicle worth $6,000 stolen and later recovered in Bluffton.

• Domino's Pizza, 55 Mathews Drive -- 1998 Pontiac Grand Am worth $3,000 stolen.

Theft

• Dune Lane -- Pool heater worth $800 stolen.

• Outerbridge Circle -- $300 in cash stolen from home.
