Cannon completes wilderness course

Arthur Cannon of Beaufort has completed the National Outdoor Leadership School quintessential course, a 30-day wilderness course in the Wind River Range of Wyoming.

Cannon's group of 12 students and three instructors began their course learning basic wilderness techniques such as cooking and stove use, camping, map reading and Leave No Trace techniques.
