Heritage Academy seniors sign with colleges

Heritage Academy held an early signing ceremony on Wednesday, honoring seniors Stephanie Meadow, Caryssa Peretz, Alrissa Tobe and Richard Werenski.
All four have received scholarships to continue their golf or tennis playing careers in college.
Meadow, from County Antrim, Ireland, will receive a full golf scholarship to Alabama next fall. She is currently ranked seventh in the nation in the Golf Week junior rankings.
Peretz, from Cherry Hill, N.J., has a full ride to play tennis at Virginia. She has earned a top 15 USTA ranking as she has moved up through each age group and won the 18 division of the National Open in 2008.
Tobe has a full scholarship to play tennis for Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She won the ATA National Championship in Miami this year and is listed as the No. 2 recruit in the South Carolina region.
Werenski, from South Hadley, Mass., has a full scholarship to play golf at Georgia Tech. He was named an AJGA All-American this year and took fifth place in the AJGA Footjoy Invitational in North Carolina.
Heritage Academy is a private school on Hilton Head Island.
