Stout leads Thunder past Tornadoes in Calhoun Cup

Kativa Stout scored two goals, leading the Thunder past the Tornadoes in the 13-16 division of the Calhoun Cup youth soccer tournament on Monday.

Other goals came from Sarah Moltz, Ivie Schleicher and Dallas Hoey.

Lizeth Trujillo scored the only goal for the Tornadoes.

The Thunder will play the Fire in the next round at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Burton Wells.

In Monday's other 13-16 girls game, the Stingrays nipped the Hurricanes 1-0 with Briley Langehans scoring the only goal.

The Stingrays will face the Sweepers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Today, the 13-16 boys will play starting at 5:30 p.m. The championship round for both boys and girls is Thursday at Burton Wells.
